Column from Jerusalem Temple   After the Bar-Kochba revolt in 135, Roman authorities in Palestine ordered that the Temple be demolished completely.  Parts of the former Temple complex were used in other building projects in the city.  Above is possibly one of the columns used in Herod's Temple, found during excavations in Jerusalem.
