Coins Minted during the
Jewish Revolt against Rome
 
 



On one side of this coin is an amphora with the ancient Hebrew inscription "Year Two" (67-68).  The other side features a grape leaf with the ancient Hebrew inscription "The Freedom of Zion."



On one side of this coin is an amphora with the ancient Hebrew inscription "Year Three" (68-69).  The other side has a grape leaf with the ancient Hebrew inscription "The Freedom of Zion."


On one side of this coin is a chalice with the Hebrew inscription "For the Redemption of Zion."  On the other side is found a lulav (palm branch) flanked by ethrogs (citrus fruits) with the ancient Hebrew inscription "Year Four" (69-70).
