Roman Aquaduct, Caesarea
Roman aquaduct found at Caesarea buried in the sand on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Water was carried from the nearby mountains to the city of Caesarea over several kilometers. Notice the solid stone construction and typical Roman archways giving support to the structure.
