Easton's Bible Dictionary
Easton’s Bible Dictionary was authored by a Scottish
Presbyterian by the name of Matthew George Easton (1823-1894).
Easton’s Bible Dictionary has over 2000 articles dealing with every Bible topic imaginable. It gives brief histories of the places of the Bible like Nineveh, Babylon and Israel. It also provides information on the people of the Bible and describes many customs of the ancient Near East. There are also descriptions of the major Chrsitian Doctrines, Archaeology and History. This is an excellent source of Biblical information in addition to the 195,000 words found in the Topical Viewer.
